Working towards becoming a University of Sanctuary – the story so far.

The University of Sanctuary Working Group will be hosting a lunchtime event to celebrate what has already been achieved at the University of Bradford in working towards becoming a University of Sanctuary.

People to come along and listen to why engagement with and awareness of issues facing asylum seekers and refugees matter and how to get involved.

When: Friday 22 April 12-1pm (with optional informal conversations from 1-2pm). 

Where: Norcroft Centre (downstairs) University of Bradford main campus. Places are FREE but must be booked here.

Speakers include: Professor Paul Rogers (Peace Studies), Will Sutcliffe (Chair of Bradford City of Sanctuary) & Furaha Mussanzi (refugee and former student). 

This event has primarily been organised by the University of Sanctuary working group and is part of the University of Bradford’s Diversity Festival.
